DENMARK FAIL IN FINAL PHASE BID

Denmark have failed to qualify for the final phase of this season’s UEFA Nations League despite beating world champions France in their final game in Group A1. France and the Danes are in Group A1 alongside Croatia and Austria.

With the 2-0 victory over France, Denmark were able to do the double over the two-time World Cup winners with two wins from two Group A1 games. In their first meeting in Group A1,Denmark came from behind to beat France 2-1 thanks to the brace from Sevilla striker Kasper Dolbergwho’s on loan from French side OGC Nice at the moment.
