Poland preparation for the World Cup

New Poland manager Jerzy Brzęczek said that he is happy with the performance of his players in the game against Italy and that this will serve as a preparation for the World Cup 2022 qualifiers.

Jerzy Brzęczek has just taken charge of the team after their poor performance at the Russian World Cup and said that his objective is to build a team that can perform at the next Euros and also qualifies for the World Cup 2022.

He said that his players performed well in the game against Italy and that they could have won the game if they did not give away the penalty. He said that they controlled the game well and could have scored more goals, especially in the first half.

Jerzy Brzęczek said that his personal objective for the team is to make sure that the team develop a good team spirit and make it to the World Cup 2022. He said that this is why he accepted to take charge of the team as he has ample time to build a team that can perform at the next World Cup.

He said that he has had plenty of short-term offers but he wanted something more ambitious. He said that it has always been his dream to manage the Poland national team and that he is looking forward to an exciting journey with the team.

He believes that performing at the World Cup 2022 is a realistic ambition and that he will do his best to help the team go through the qualifiers. He said that the new Nations League competition is a good one and that it will provide plenty of competitive games for the young players.
