Manchester United assistant coach Mike Phelan has urged Paul Pogba to stay committed for the Red Devils amid the ongoing speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid. The World Cup winner has been with the Red Devils for the past two-and-a-half seasons, but his performances have been mixed with flashes of brilliance every now and then.
Earlier last month, Pogba acknowledged that he holds the ambition of joining Real Madrid at some point of his career and this has been followed up with comments from Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane, who has opened the prospect of a future transfer for the Frenchman. Despite this, United seem to have no plans of selling their prized asset during the summer, considering they are planning a squad rebuild around the midfielder.
United have failed to compete for the Premier League crown for the past six seasons, but they are expected to spend big during the forthcoming transfer window to ensure that they can close the gap on the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City, who have been far ahead of the rest during the ongoing league campaign. United are currently sixth on the table after 32 games played.
